The ‘easy’ way to fit specialist lenses

As optical practices begin to return to near-normal operation, we’ve been giving thought to how Menicon’s Specialist lens team can support eye care professionals safely cater for the needs of their patients who often need extra chair time.

The current guidance focuses, rightly, on reducing exposure and that means keeping contact time with patients to a minimum. And that’s where our EasyFit software may help. It’s a sophisticated, user-friendly tool which accurately guides eye care professionals through the fitting process.

Until now EasyFit has primarily been used for fitting and evaluating our Ortho K lens design, but it also supports many other products including our award-nominated Miru 1day Flat Pack disposable lens and our family of Rose K2 designs for patients with an irregular cornea.

Looking to the future, Easyfit will have an integral role to play for Menicon BLOOMTM - our fully licensed Myopia Control System which is the first and only CE-approved Ortho K design for myopia control.
